Why NFT’s are not free, if CryptoPunks were?
As NFT fanatics and lovers of this space, we saw the evolution over the last year. We started to build this project, as did many other creators, thinking that our art was our main strength and it could bring us tons of money. But, in reality, during the course of the project we realized how the NFT space is entering a stage where most of the people want to make a quick profit, trying to become rich immediately.
The truth is that this made a lot of projects against the authentic spirit of NFT’s, making the price of the mint rise everyday without adding any real value. In consequence we encountered lots of scams and a shadow that’s affecting in a bad way the spirit that once made us fall in love with NFT’s. The reality of adding value inside a decentralized community, and the benefits of doing this in the blockchain.
Because of this reason, we decided to make this project TOTALLY FREE. We don’t like this stream, so we’re going to revive the CryptoPunk’s spirit, which was released for free in 2017, and create value for every single member that jumps in our boat.
Mint is free?
Yes, no one has to pay for it, just gas fee.
This mean that CyberBoyz 3000 is a bad project?
From our perspective, we made the best quality possible after 6 months of hard work and sacrifice, working on creating the best when it comes to 3D, lore and roadmap. We know that CyberBoyz is worth a lot in fact, but the value of a project should not be reflected on its price, but what’s built during the development.
Who’s able to mint for free?
We divided CyberBoyz 3000 on 3 groups:
- 2000 will be offered to 20 NFT communities. These communities represent all the values that we think are necessary in space.
- 800 will be offered by whitelist. With this decision we want to reward members outside those communities, so everyone has an opportunity to join CyberBoyz 3000.
- 200 will be minted by us. Those CyberBoyz will be airdropped to the team and to people who helped us through these months.

This is just a list that doesn’t follow a specific order, we know there’s many NFT communities out there that could enter our list, but following our own experience we think that these communities surprised us in many ways and made us believe in different aspects of the NFT world.
Last but not least, we want to thank all the members and projects that influenced us to make this decision, which is an answer to the current stage the NFT world is in.
